Emily Cox

Director

Emily is responsible for strategic leadership, governance, and business growth within T James Electrical. Emily ensures that the company’s long-term success since 1957 continues, Emily oversees the senior management, fellow directors, and provides guidance on key financial, operational, and market decisions.
My mission is to keep the business growing and build strong relationships with clients and partners. I’m all about leading a great team, staying ahead of industry trends, and making sure we’re always reliable, efficient, and ready for the future.

Director

Simon is responsible for overseeing electrical Projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving the strategic growth of the business. They play a key leadership role in managing electrical projects, maintaining safety standards, and improving overall efficiency.
Through strong leadership, collaboration, and continuous improvement, I strive to enhance client satisfaction, optimise project performance, and position the company as a trusted industry leader.
Matthew Simpson

Senior Contracts Manager

Matthew is responsible for managing high-value electrical contracts, overseeing multiple projects, and ensuring the successful delivery of electrical installations and maintenance. His senior role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and deep technical knowledge to drive business growth and maintain high industry standards.
My mission is to lead with integrity, vision, and accountability, driving growth, innovation, and success while upholding a culture of trust and excellence.
Andy Talbot

Senior Contracts Manager & Principal Duty Holder (PDH)

Andy is responsible for overseeing electrical contracts from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to industry standards. As the Principal Duty Holder, they also take legal responsibility for electrical safety compliance, NICEIC accreditation, and regulatory adherence.
I believe in leading with honesty, transparency, and integrity, ensuring trust, fairness, and accountability in all decisions and actions for our customers and T James alike.
Andrew Johnson

Senior Electrical Estimator

Andrew is responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and cost-effective estimates for electrical projects. Andrew plays a critical role in project planning, bid preparation, and cost analysis, ensuring that proposals align with company objectives and client requirements. His expertise helps the business secure profitable contracts while maintaining compliance, efficiency, and risk management.
I will continue using my many years of experience in the contracting industry to deliver professional cost effective estimates.
Craig Walsh

Testing/Compliance Manager & QS

Craig is responsible for ensuring that electrical installations and systems comply with legal, safety, and industry standards. This role involves overseeing inspections, testing procedures, and regulatory compliance while maintaining the highest quality and safety levels within an organization.
As an Electrical Testing Manager, my mission is to ensure the highest standards of electrical safety, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency through proactive risk management and adherence to industry regulations
Ian Symington

Sustainability Business Manager

Ian is responsible for integrating sustainable practices into electrical systems and infrastructure. Ian’s role focuses on reducing energy consumption, improving efficiency, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. They work closely with customers, engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to develop and implement eco-friendly electrical solutions to include Solar PV, Voltage Optimisation, Energy saving LED lighting.
I feel it is vital that our customer base are aware of energy saving opportunities and I make it my job to match up the technology with our clients requirements.

I am responsible for overseeing both Financial Management and Quality Assurance within an organization. This role ensures that our financial operations are efficient, compliant, and profitable while maintaining high-quality standards.

This role involves strategic planning and timely communication with third parties, site specific access authorisations and risk assessments to ensure successful project completion.
As Special Projects Manager, my mission is to deliver unique, high-impact projects on time and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and innovation.

Office Administrator

Callie plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of an office by managing administrative tasks, coordinating office activities, Supporting the finance manager with invoicing and supporting all of T James Electricals staff. Callie helps maintain efficiency, handle documentation, and ensure compliance with company policies.
As an Office Administrator, my mission is to facilitate seamless operations by managing administrative tasks efficiently, fostering clear communication, and supporting the team to ensure a productive and organized work environment.
Mark Walton

Facilities Manager

Mark is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the infrastructure, equipment, and operational efficiency for one of T James Electrical Largest customers within two large distribution centres and multiple smaller units. This role ensures that all systems comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, while also focusing on cost control, Planned Preventive Maintenance/Reactive Maintenance, and overall facility sustainability.
As a Facilities Manager, my mission is to ensure safe, efficient, and well-maintained facilities while leading with honesty and integrity.
Darren Laughton

Senior Commercial Purchasing Manager

Darren plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for T James Electricals projects & special projects. Darrens responsibilities are typically broad, focusing on ensuring cost-effective purchasing, maintaining supply chain relationships, and supporting project timelines whilst working closely will all management within T James Electrical.
My mission is to strategically oversee and optimize the procurement of high-quality electrical materials, equipment, and services, ensuring that our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
